Doomed
From a recent email:
I have one product in production that could be as big as, let’s say — Twitter.

To tell an employee of Facebook about the project just would be a wise move on my part. That was why I was trying to build a relationship without being fully exposed on this prime venture.
I have nothing but complete disinterest in knowing more about this doomed effort.

Wow, congrats. It’s interesting that the founders left Google, spent 2.5 years building something, then get acquired by their former company for $50 million. What is going wrong at Google that is costing them this kind of “innovation premium”?
