Word. Ethics come form the top, and if Tumblr just gave the vibe that the right thing to do is credit people for the work you post people’s posting habits would change. Not everyone’s but they could set the mood for the whole userbase if they encouraged people to be respectful...

At my next company, I’m going to build a game mechanic into everything that doesn’t require creative thinking. You should be able to get points for going to the gym and eating well and those points should correspond to increased subsidies for your health insurance or gym.
