I actually don’t know whether I’m normal. Do you?
My question was actually whether it is normal to use _only_ 3rd party clients. I’d bet most people are using _just_ twitter.com. And those doing the API accesses also access twitter.com once a month (like me). Either way, I don’t see how it adds up to an argument that monthly uniques are under counted.
Not that I think twitter is hurting. They’ve been overhyped, and had a bad few months. They’ve released a lot lately, so this might change soon.
